Barbastro players reveals which Barca shirts they want after Copa de Rey tie

Barcelona are set to start 2025 with a visit to Barbastro in the Copa del Rey in what is a dream fixture for the hosts.

The two teams met last year in the competition, with Barcelona running out narrow winners in 3-2 win.

Ahead of the game, Barbastro players have revealed which Barcelona stars they would like to swap shirts with after the game.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Lamine Yamal features heavily on Barbastro players’ wishlist and is the most requested.

The bad news for Barbastro is that Yamal is not expected to play in the game. The teenager has been sidelined with an ankle injury and should sit out the match.

Barcelona are hoping that Yamal will be fit for their Spanish Super Cup clash against Athletic Club but hopefully won’t rush the teenager back.

Hansi Flick’s XI for the Barbastro game should make for interesting reading. It’s a real chance to rotate the squad, although Flick will be know that Barbastro will still provide a stiff test.
