Laporta wants January signings after Barca return to 1:1 rule
More drama to come?
Barcelona president Joan Laporta reportedly now wants the club to sign players in January after returning to the 1:1 rule.
The club still haven’t registered Dani Olmo and Pau Victor for 2025, meaning both are not in the squad to face Barbastro today, but Laporta still wants to go on spending, according to Relevo.
Laporta “remains convinced that he has done everything right” and that Olmo and Victor will be registered shortly. And once that is done then “Laporta wants to reinforce his squad no matter what” in January.
Exits will be needed for that to happen and Eric Garcia and Ansu Fati are once again named as players who could potentially be sold.
Garcia has been linked with a move to Girona, who are said to be willing to pay €10m, although Hansi Flick didn’t seem too keen on that plan when quizzed at his press conference.
