‘We are still in the fight’ - Ferran sends out title message
The forward’s feeling good
Ferran Torres sent out a strong message after scoring in Barcelona’s huge 7-1 win over Valencia on Sunday.
The result is a great win for Barcelona but they are still seven points behind Real Madrid in the race for the league title.
Yet Ferran says Barcelona are still very much in the hunt and won’t give up fighting.
“We are still in the fight. We want to fight for everything until the end!” he posted on X.
Seguimos en la pelea. Queremos luchar por todo hasta el final! @FCBarcelona

Aprovecho para desearle lo mejor al @valenciacf Estoy convencido de que al final conseguireis el objetivo. Me alegré mucho de volver a verte, Diakhaby pic.twitter.com/7QYTxOEeYU
Ferran also spoke out after the match and said he felt the game was a turning point for Hansi Flick’s side after getting back to winning ways in La Liga.
“It is always important to play and participate. I don’t think I have vindicated myself, I just want to make the most of the minutes,” he said.
“I can play in any position up front, I can score goals and I can give assists.”
“It’s clear that we weren’t in our best form in the league. This match is a turning point and today we were able to score a goal with our team in our stadium. It’s been very good for us.”
Torres’ goal means he now has four goals and two assists for Barca so far in La Liga this season.
