Lamine Yamal has given a glowing verdict of manager Hansi Flick who is enjoying a fine first season as Barcelona boss.
The teenger has given a lengthy interview to Mundo Deportivo this week and in the latest instalment to be published he’s spoken about his manager.
“Very good from the start. Before I came here in the summer, I was at the European Championships and I spoke to him,” he said.
“The truth is that I was very surprised by the affection he has for all of us, he tries to talk to everyone. He tries to explain the reason for things, whether he changes you or if you don’t play. Anything.
“He tries to explain things. He tries to make sure we’re all doing very well and I think he’s one of the best coaches I’ve had. I haven’t had many until now, but the truth is that he’s a ten.”
Yamal is not the first player to speak about Flick’s warm approach and his close relationship with his players, even if he is known for also being a strict disciplinarian.
