Lamine Yamal reveals his dream signing for Barcelona
And it’s not his idol Neymar
Lamine Yamal has named Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala as the one player he would sign for Barcelona given the chance.
The Barcelona teen was asked by Mundo Deportivo to name his favourite three stars who don’t play for Hansi Flick’s side and came out with Musiala, Neymar and Savinho.
Yamal was then quizzed further and asked which one he would sign and answered; “You want me to say Neymar… but no: Musiala, who has a contract.”
Musiala has previously been described as Hansi Flick’s “dream signing” for Barcelona but has just put pen to paper on a new long-term contact with Bayern,
As for Lamine, he’s expected to sign an extension later this year when he turns 18 and had the following to say when asked about his future.
“It’s the only club I’ve been at apart from La Torreta, which was the team I started at. But yes, I owe everything to Barça. In the end, it’s where I grew up, I was at La MasĂa from the age of twelve and playing for Barça from the age of seven,” he explained.
“I don’t think anyone doubts what I am like as a Barça fan, how much I love this club . I’ve said it since I made my debut and I think it will be resolved in the end. If both parties want something to happen, it will happen. But I don’t think anyone can doubt what I feel for this club.”
