Hansi Flick’s side are preparing for some cup action

Dani Olmo was back in training for Barcelona on Tuesday after recovering from a calf strain and looks set to be available for the Copa del Rey tie with Valencia.

The forward had been expected back for the match after missing Barca’s last four games and was a welcome sight on the training ground.

Barca are gearing up for the quarter-final tie against Valencia at Mestalla but may be without Gavi for the match.

The midfielder had to go off in the win over Alaves due to a head injury and concussion protocols may mean he misses the game against Los Che.

Barcelona are due to train again tomorrow before Hansi Flick addresses the media at his usual pre-match press conference and then names his squad.

The Catalans won’t lack for confidence against Valencia. The two sides met recently in La Liga with Barca running out 7-1 winners at Montjuic.
