Yamal emerges as doubt for Barcelona’s clash with Atletico

The teenager didn’t train on Monday
Barcelona teenager Lamine Yamal has emerged as a doubt for Tuesday’s Copa del Rey semi-final first leg against Atletico Madrid.
Yamal did not train with his team-mates on Monday ahead of the game but hasn’t been ruled out of the tie yet.
The Barcelona forward took a knock against Las Palmas and showed off his bloodied sock after the 2-0 win for Hansi Flick’s side.
Diario Sport are reporting he will be in the matchday squad but that Barca didn’t want him to train ahead of the game as a precaution.
The hope is that he will be able to feature at some point against Diego Simeone’s side, but Barca will monitor him closely over the next 24 hours before making a decision.
Yamal is believed to be eager to play in the game at Montjuic, and we’re likely to get an update from Flick shortly at his pre-match press conference.
