‘I have to score more’ - Balde eager to improve at Barca

The left-back knows where he wants to improve
Alejandro Balde is in the midst of a superb season for Barcelona and has been starring for Hansi Flick’s side at left-back.
The 21-year-old is one of a host of players who are thriving under the German coach but he says there’s still one area of his game he wants to improve.
“I could score more goals, to be honest, I get up a lot and it’s like a goal I have, I have to score more,” he told RAC1.
“We are very young, people don’t realise what we’re doing players of 17, 18 or 19 years old, people are not used to it, people think that Lamine is normal. And it’s not normal.”
Balde also revealed how injury problems last season made it very difficult for him to find his best form for Barcelona.
“I came back from an ankle injury, but above all it was the pubis, it was killing me and I wasn’t playing well, and in January I had the hamstring injury, which was my first operation,” he added.
“That has already killed me. It was five and a half months, I had never had surgery and I was a little scared.”
The defender was on target last time out as Barcelona beat Benfica in the Champions League and looks certain to start again on Sunday against Atletico.
