Pedri reveals what he told Yamal after missed penalty

The teenager missed his kick
Barcelona midfielder Pedri has revealed what he told team-mate Lamine Yamal after the teenager missed a penalty in Spain’s shoot-out win over the Netherlands.
Yamal had scored a brilliant goal during the game but failed from 12 yards as Spain went on to win 5-4 on penalties.
Pedri scored the decisive spot-kick for La Roja and was smiling when asked by reporters afterwards what he said to Yamal.
“I told Lamine that what a sh*tty penalty he took,” he joked.
“But well, I think he’s a player who learns from that, we can’t put pressure on him.
“He’s a player who has to be taken care of, be with him and above all enjoy himself on the field, which is what he has to do.”
Pedri also admitted to feeling a little bit tired ahead of another crunch week that brings fixtures against Osasuna and Girona.
“We’re a little tired, but we can’t forget that we’re Barça. If it’s decided we have to play on Thursday, we’ll do it, and we’ll give everything we have to win in La Liga,” he added.
Barcelona’s Spain contingent will now head back to the club but it remains to be seen if they will be ready to play on Thursday after a busy international break.
