‘Soon!’ - Bernal posts exciting update as injury recovery continues

Not much longer to wait

Barcelona midfielder Marc Bernal has offered another encouraging injury update as he closes in on a return to fitness after a long spell out with an ACL injury.

The teenager missed virtually the whole season with Barcelona but is now back on the training pitches and working with the ball.

‘Soon, Soon’ - he posted on Instagram along with a photo showing himself working out at the Ciutat Esportiva.

Bernal has admitted in a recent interview that he’s raring to go after such a lengthy spell out and can’t wait to get back to work.

The hope is that Bernal will be available again in time for the start of the new season, although it’s not completely sure when he will make his long-awaited comeback.

Barca may well be cautious with the teenager, as they were with Gavi this season when he returned, in a bid to ensure he makes the best possible recovery.
