Bernal predicts the next two La Masia stars to make the breakthrough at Barca

Lots to choose from
Marc Bernal is yet another La Masia graduate to come through Barcelona’s famed academy and make it into the first team.
The midfielder made the breakthrough at the start of last season but was then ruled out with a serious knee injury.
Bernal is now on the comeback trail, and hoping to make an impact in the new campaign, and been doing plenty of media work ahead of his return.
The 18-year-old has been asked which current La Masia stars he thinks will be the next to make the breakthrough and came up with two names.
“Dani Rodríguez, who has already played, or Jofre Torrents,” he told Diario Sport.
Rodriguez made his debut last season but unfortunately picked up a shoulder injury that subsequently required surgery.
He will miss pre-season with Barcelona but is hoping to be fit in time to play for Spain at the the Under-20 World Cup.
Meanwhile, Torrents is certainly one to keep an eye on. He is expected to be on the plane for Barcelona’s pre-season tour of Asia and will be hoping he can impress.
