Iñaki Peña wants to sort Barça exit ‘within next week’

The goalkeeper wants a move abroad very soon
Iñaki Peña is no longer in Barcelona’s plans and is currently the fourth goalkeeper in the team’s depth chart behind new signing Joan Garcia, Marc-André ter Stegen and Wojciech Szczesny, who is set to sign a contract renewal.
Peña has accepted his fate and wants to leave Barcelona as soon as possible, according to a new report from MARCA. Peña hasn’t received any meaningful proposals from teams in La Liga as of now but has plenty of interest from clubs around Europe, the report says, and his main goal is to join a new club in time to begin their preseason.
The player wants to sort his future within the next week, and his exit will be negotiated via either a sale or a contract buyout that will allow him to be a free agent and pick his next destination.
Barça also want to resolve Peña’s future as soon as possible for salary cap reasons, and once his exit is official they will move on to negotiating Ter Stegen’s departure to settle their goalkeeper rotation between Garcia and Szczesny.
