Here’s the club’s official statement:
“FC Barcelona and first-team player Ansu Fati have reached an agreement to extend his contract until June 30, 2028.
“Furthermore, FC Barcelona and AS Monaco have reached an agreement for the forward’s loan until June 30, 2026.”
Fati will wear the No. 31 shirt at Monaco and joins former Manchester United and Juventus star Paul Pogba in making the switch to the French club this summer.
His move also means that Lamine Yamal is now expected to take his No. 10 shirt ahead of the new season.
Good luck at Monaco, Ansu Fati!
