Barcelona stars Robert Lewandowski, Pedri, Raphinha and Lamine Yamal have all been nominated for the 2025 Ballon d’Or.
The list of 30 nominees has been announced and includes the quartet after a season where all four players enjoyed a stellar campaign and helped Barcelona win La Liga, Copa del Rey and Spanish Super Cup titles.
Yamal and Raphinha have already been tipped as hot favourites to pick up the Golden Ball prize but there’s certainly plenty of competition.
Former Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembele is also in the running to finish top of the pile after an outstanding season that culminated with success in the Champions League.

Big names such as Erling Haaland, Mohamed Salah and Kylian Mbappe are also nominated and will be aiming to succeed Manchester City midfielder Rodri who won the award last year.
Barcelona also have plenty of nominees for the women’s award. Aitana Bonmati, Caroline Graham Hansen, Patri, Ewa Pajor, Claudia Pina and Alexia Putellas have all been shortlisted after another phenomenal campaign for Barcelona Femeni.
The Ballon d’Or winner will be announced in September at a ceremony in Paris.
