Galatasaray considering move for Barcelona’s Marc Casado

Marc Casado’s future at Barcelona is generating headlines in the January transfer window as he struggles for minutes under Hansi Flick in the 2025-26 campaign.
The rumor mill has already claimed interest from Atletico Madrid and now says that Galatasaray are also keen on Casado, per Diario Sport.
Casado has only made six La Liga starts this season, which does not seem to have gone unnoticed at the Turkish side, and his situation does not look like improving any time soon.
Marc Bernal now seems to be ahead of him in the pecking order, while Gavi is due back in February or March and young Tommy Marques is becoming a regular in first-team training.
There has been speculation that Casado is not happy with his game time currently at Barcelona, but Hansi Flick has made it pretty clear he does not want him to leave in January.
The Barca boss was asked about Casado and Marc Bernal after news that Dro Fernandez has asked to leave and insisted “my idea is for everyone to stay.”
With Dro leaving and Pedri out for a month, Casado may be hoping for more chances in the coming weeks. He may not move this winter, but he does seem to be in a difficult situation at the moment at Barca.
