Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has explained his decision to start Robert Lewandowski over Ferran Torres for Sunday’s clash with Real Madrid at the Spanish Super Cup.

Lewandowski is back in the starting XI for the match and Flick discussed his starting XI ahead of kick-off.

“It’s based on feelings. We analyze the opponent, we know how we want to play and what’s best for the match,” he said.

“It’s not easy because Ferran has also played well, but it’s a matter of feeling, and I have a good feeling today.”

Flick also looked ahead to the game as he prepares to face Barcelona’s biggest rivals once again.
