Barcelona are currently sweating on Raphinha’s fitness after seeing the Brazilian replaced at half-time of an international friendly with France on Thursday.

Manager Carlo Ancelotti confirmed afterwards that Raphinha “had a problem” and will now undergo tests, with initial reports claiming that it’s another hamstring problem for the forward.

According to AS, the initial reports that Barcelona have received state that Raphinha has “felt a twinge in his right hamstring, the same muscle that sidelined him for two months earlier this season, and suffered two relapses.”

Raphinha is now facing tests to determine the severity of the problem, with AS already speculating he could be out for a few weeks and miss some key fixtures.

The club’s big worry stems from the fact that it’s the “same muscle that was injured this season” and that hamstring injuries can be notoriously tricky to handle as the risk of recurrence is high.

Raphinha spoke about that earlier in the season, saying he blamed himself for suffering relapses after trying to return to action too quickly.
