Is Jules Kounde no longer ‘untouchable’ and should Barcelona sell if the price is right?

Jules Kounde’s future at Barcelona has been in the spotlight in the last few days amid speculation that the club no longer view him as an “untouchable” and would be willing to sell if the price was right.

The defender has been an ever-present under Hansi Flick but is currently sidelined through injury and not due to return until after the international break.

Eric Garcia has taken over at right-back at times this season, while Ronald Araujo and young Xavi Espart have also featured while Kounde has been out.

Joao Cancelo is another option for Flick and may well end up staying at the club past the end of his current loan.
