‘It might be time’ – Robert Lewandowski drops hints on his future after Barcelona win La Liga
Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski admits he is still yet to make a decision on his future after winning La Liga again with Hansi Flick’s side.
The veteran striker is coming to the end of his contract with the Catalan giants but says he has plenty to think about regarding his next move.
“What will I do? I don’t know. I just heard I have 51 days left on my contract. I’ll listen to a few more offers and then decide, ” he told Eleven Sports.
“There might be an option for a lower league. I’m about to turn 38, so I won’t deny that it might be time to think about it. On the other hand, I feel good physically, so I have a mix of things in mind.
“I have to consider that it might be time to play and enjoy life. Maybe that’s an option, so I’m not saying no.”
Lewandowski reportedly has offers from Saudi Arabia, MLS and Serie A on the table for next season, while Joan Laporta has said he “deserves” a new deal at Barcelona.
