Barcelona president Joan Laporta has been quizzed on talk that Ferran Torres is in talks with Paris Saint-Germain over a potential summer move to the French capital.

Torres is into the final year of his contract at Barcelona and there’s speculation he could be set to be reunited with Luis Enrique at PSG.

Laporta says Barcelona haven’t heard from PSG and did go on to praise the player, although he stopped short of confirming he would stay.

“I’ve heard something about it, but we have no confirmation. He’s a Barça player, one of the 14 players we’ve had here,” he told Mundo Deportivo.

“Ferran is also doing very well; every time he comes on, he’s dangerous. He gave that pass to Merino, which was excellent. Anyway, we have great players here at the World Cup, and that’s why I’m here too.”

Barcelona reportedly want €50 million for Ferran if he does depart, but any move will likely have to wait until after the World Cup.
