Who is your favorite Barcelona unsung hero of all time?
I loved Seydou Keita. So much. Never has a player embodied the words “underrated” or “unsung hero” such as him. He was one of the most complete midfielders of his time, and the legendary Barcelona teams of Pep Guardiola with Sergio Busquets, Xavi and Andrés Iniesta would not have been the same if not for Keita’s quiet brilliance. And he never, ever, got the credit.
Barça’s history is filled with superstars in every era, true generational talents who changed the game and became legends with their goals, trophies and unforgettable moments. But Barça fans also remember fondly those who may not be considered legends or superstars but played a crucial part in the success of the teams they were a part of.
