Javier Mascherano: "Don't rule us out, we can still come back"
The 4-0 thrashing suffered against Athletic Bilbao is hurting, but Barcelona still believes it can keep the Sextuple alive.
Following the tough defeat at San Mamés, Blaugrana center-back and captain Javier Mascherano quickly talked to the media about the game, and he aknowledged that his team wasn't at a high level, but the Argentine is still very confident that the Catalan giants can rise to the occasion and still win the Spanish Supercup.
Here's a few highlights:
"Don't rule us out. We can still come back and win the Super Cup. Nothing is settled yet. The second leg at home is still to come. We've won many games by many goals. It'll be a tough match because our opponents are strong, but we have a chance at home.
"It was one of those things. They had about four chances and scored four goals. We had a few chances to score.
"Now what we need to do is put right what we got wrong. Above all, we need to believe in ourselves in the second leg.
