Rafinha leaves stadium in crutches; Barcelona fear cruciate ligament injury

It wasn't the best of nights for Barcelona, as the team was only able to get a draw against AS Roma in their UEFA Champions League opener. And as the evening rolls along, more bad news continue to come the Blaugrana's way.

Rafinha Alcântara was forced to leave the game with an injury after this terrible challenge by Roma's Radja Nainggolan:

The Brazilian midfielder was immediately substituted just two minutes after he came on as substitute himself. He was carried off the field directly to the locker room. As the Barça players left the stadium, we saw one terrible image:

That's Rafinha in crutches as he walks off the stadium. There are no official reports from the club as of this moment, but there is word from sources that the player will do more tests in the Catalan capital on Thursday, and there is serious fear of a cruciate ligament tear on his knee, which would sideline him for a long period.

Here's hoping those fears are not confirmed. However, things look really bad.
