Rumors: Barcelona’s plan for Griezmann, Gomes asks to leave and Deulofeu & Rafinha latest
Barca to offer Griezmann huge salary
Today’s rumors start with an explanation of just how Barcelona are going to attract Antoine Griezmann this summer, and how much they are going to spend.
It’s a pretty interesting question actually, particularly as the club have already splashed a whole load of cash on Philippe Coutinho, and Spanish TV’s El Larguero (via AS) reckon they have the answer.
Barca apparently plan to pay his €100m release clause in the summer and will then offer him a five-year deal with a salary that places him amongst the club’s top earners.
Andres Gomes wants out in January
Over at Sport the word is that Andre Gomes has asked to leave Barcelona in the January transfer window.
Apparently the midfielder isn’t too fussed if it’s a loan or a permanent deal either, he just wants out so he can play regularly.
Gomes is worried he will seen even less game time with Ousmane Dembele fit again and Coutinho newly arrived and has spoken to Ernesto Valverde about his concerns.
Napoli talk to Deulofeu - but he wants Inter
Over in Italy the news is that Napoli have opened talks over a move for Gerard Deulofeu - but the winger fancies a move to Inter instead.
Sky Sport Italia (via Football Italia) reckon Napoli have made an approach and been told Barca want €15-20 million for Deulofeu.
Inter want Rafinha
And talking of Inter, they’ve decided they quite like the look of Rafinha, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The Serie A side are keen on a loan with an option to buy at the end of the season, but Barca really want to sell, and if possible they’d like €20m for the Brazilian.
