Sergi Samper to undergo surgery after suffering horror injury
The midfielder is out for the season
Sergi Samper has been ruled out for the rest of the season after suffering a horrible ankle injury during Las Palmas’ clash with Eibar on Saturday.
The midfielder has suffered a “fracture of the fibula and rupture of the ligament of the left ankle” and will undergo surgery in Barcelona on Sunday, according to Las Palmas.

Samper joined Las Palmas on a season-long loan in August but he has struggled for game time with the La Liga team.
Saturday’s game was just his second La Liga start but he was stretchered off and his season is now over.
It’s awful luck for the youngster and we can only hope he recovers fully and quickly and we can see him back in action soon.
Get well soon Sergi!
