Maradona says he’d manage Messi and Argentina for free

La Albiceleste would save some money at least
Former Argentina international Diego Maradona said on a television show this week that he would indeed coach the Argentinian national team for free. This comes on the back of a disappointing World Cup showing from La Abiceleste at the World Cup.
“Yes, and I would do it for free,” he said. “I wouldn’t ask for anything in return.”
“People think I am happy but my heart is heavy, I feel really bad that everything we built with so much effort we destroyed so easily.”’

This is of course the last thing the Argentina national team actually needs. Maradona last coached the team in 2010 when they lost to Germany in the quarter-finals 4-0. The antics that Maradona has become known for in his post playing and managerial career have made him a media firestorm. The prospect of him being back at the helm of Argentina is interesting, to put it kindly.
