After a convincing display and victory in their season opener against Alavés at Camp Nou, Barcelona will be hoping to make it two wins from two games when they travel to newly promoted Real Valladolid. Ernesto Valverde saw a strong performance from his side last weekend, and they’re even bigger favorites to win by more in this one.
Valladolid have made some interesting signings since joining the top flight, but they remain strong candidates for relegation and are hoping for nothing more than a point against the champions. For Barça, they must take the game seriously in order to establish their dominance, but if they do we could see another dominant result for the Catalans.
POSSIBLE LINEUPS
Barcelona (4-3-3): Ter Stegen; Semedo, Piqué, Umtiti, Alba; Rakitic, Busquets, Coutinho; Messi, Suárez, Dembélé
Valladolid (4-3-3): Masip; Moyano, Calero, Olivas, Nacho; Alcaraz, Borja, Mohamed; Villa, Plano, Keko
PREDICTION
This should be tricky for a while away from home against a newly promoted side, but we’ll probably dominate after half an hour and win with comfort: 3-0 to the champions.
