The Frenchman is feeling confident

Antoine Griezmann has been talking about the upcoming Champions League and seems to be in pretty confident mood ahead of Friday’s meeting with Bayern Munich.

The France international says he’s hopeful of staying in Portugal until the very end of the tournament and feels Barca have what it takes to knock out the Bundesliga champions.

“I have my suitcased packed as if we’re staying until the 23rd August. I brought my PlayStation and everything,” he said.

“We are looking forward to it, we have worked well tactically and we are ready to play the game. We know it will be difficult, but we know what we have to do to qualify for the semifinals. It will be a very good match.”

“We hope to take advantage of the quality we have. We are in a good moment and we can play a good game. We have to be together, up front and at the back, and try to have the ball as much as possible.”

Speculation ahead of the game has suggested Griezmann may not play against Bayern on Friday. Sport have reported Quique Setien will go with a four-man midfield instead, meaning Griezmann will start on the bench.
