Alena makes comeback as Barca B pick up first win
Own goal was the match winner
Carles Alena made his comeback from injury on Sunday, as Barcelona B picked up their first win of the season with a 1-0 victory over Sabadell.
The midfielder started on the bench, as did Riqui Puig, for the game at the La Nova Creu Alta.

Alena arrived on the hour mark as he made his long-awaited return from injury. He replaced captain Ferran Sarsanedas.
Barcelona B then went ahead on 74 minutes as Juan Miranda’s cross from the left was deflected past the Sabadell goalkeeper.

The visitors hung on for the win and get their first three points of the campaign.
It’s a big result after opening with two defeats, and hopefully they can kick on from here.
