The midfielder misses out again

The midfielder was originally named in Ernesto Valverde’s 19-man squad but has since been discarded following the completion of Kevin-Prince Boateng’s transfer.

The news will be a blow to Denis who has made only eight appearances for Barcelona in all competitions so far this season.
He’s been linked with a move to Arsenal in the January transfer, but the latest reports have suggested the deal has broken down.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Arsenal were keen on a loan but not on the compulsory loan option Barca wanted to include in the deal. Denis now expects to see out the season at the Camp Nou.
