Klopp doesn’t know if Liverpool ‘can play much better’ against Barca
The Reds were beaten 3-0 at the Camp Nou
Jurgen Klopp says he doesn’t think his Liverpool side can play much better than they did in their 3-0 defeat to Barcelona at the Camp Nou on Wednesday.
The Reds put in a spirited display and had chances to grab an away goal, but a Luis Suarez strike and a Lionel Messi brace have put Barcelona in charge of the tie.
“I don’t know if we can play much better, to be honest,” he said.
“You have one moment where the ball goes onto the crossbar. I don’t remember exactly how it happened, but it was easy for Messi.
“Then you had the wonderstrike, which was unsaveable. I thought we reacted well and the way we defended the counter-attacks showed we have a big heart, which I love.”
