Liverpool fans are setting off fireworks to wake Barcelona players up in the middle of the night
“Wake up call for Mr. Messi!”
Liverpool fans are doing everything they can to rattle FC Barcelona. And it’s not just chants at the stadium, either. It seems a few fans are setting off fireworks in the middle of the night near Barça’s hotel to try to make sleep difficult for them as they prepare to take on the Reds in the UEFA Champions League.

One such video reportedly had a man yelling “wake up call for Mr. Messi!”
Some people in the area reported hearing the booming sound and bright lights starting at two in the morning and as late as 4:30 a.m.
Barcelona lead 3-0 from the first leg but there are 90 minutes left in the tie for Liverpool to make the home advantage in Anfield count.
