Junior Firpo returns to Barcelona training

Barcelona have been handed an injury boost during the international break as Junior Firpo has returned to training with the team.

The training ground is a pretty sparse place this week with the team’s internationals all away with their national teams, but Firpo is back after missing the trip to Osasuna with a knee problem.

Gerard Pique and Arturo Vidal were two of the more senior players put through their paces on the training ground on Tuesday as the club prepare for their next clash against Valencia.

There’s still no sign of Lionel Messi but also no need to rush the GOAT given Barcelona are not in action for another week.

The team will train again on Wednesday before enjoying a couple of days off and returning to action on Monday.
