LaLiga requests Dec 4 Clasico date in order to protect TV rights of other clubs | Marca

La Liga want El Clasico to take place on December 4 to protect the TV rights of the other clubs in the top flight. The initial October 26 date has been postponed, but both Barcelona and Real Madrid would prefer to play on December 18.
