Barca want Rodrigo because he’s a game-changer - Valencia boss
The Valencia boss has confirmed the two clubs are in talks
Valencia boss Albert Celades has admitted that Los Che are in talks with Barcelona over a deal for Rodrigo and says the Spanish champions want the striker because he’s a “game-changer.”
Barcelona are hoping to bring the Spain international to the Camp Nou before the close of the transfer window as cover for the injured Luis Suarez.
Celades spoke at a press conference on Tuesday to confirm the news but played down suggestions Rodrigo was having a medical at the Camp Nou.
“Rodrigo is a difference-maker. That’s why Barcelona want him, beacause he is a game-changer. The negotiation is open and we won’t hide that.”
“Rodrigo has gone to Barcelona, because he had a review planned for days with Dr. Cugat.
“He made a very big effort to help us against Barcelona and was expected not to play the Cup, but that’s fine,”

Rumors continue to rage about the structure of a deal to bring Rodrigo to Barca. The latest claims suggest Bruno Fernandes could be involved in what looks to be a complicated transfer.
