Loren Morón could be

The Barcelona-Valencia meeting has finished with no agreement between the parties over the transfer of Rodrigo, according to a new report.

The president of Valencia, Anil Murthy, was said to have been in Barcelona to negotiate. But he left without budging, informing the Catalans that Valencia’s owner, Peter Lim, will not soften his demands for the player. They want a guarantee that Barcelona will pay full price for him if they allow him to leave on loan, it is rumored.

Barcelona are still interested in the player and will make one final push for him, according to the report. With the transfer window shutting closed soon, time is running out. A move will have to happen in the next few days or perhaps never.

However, there may be a plan B if Rodrigo isn’t available for the right price: Loren Morón. The striker knows Quique Setién from their time together at Real Betis. There’s a rumor that Setién sees Morón as the best choice to reinforce the attack.

His release clause is said to be set at 60 million euro, but he may be available for only 30. At the moment, it seems Morón is not interested in leaving Betis, but the team is already said to be looking at possibilities should he leave.

Another name making the rounds is that of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, but at the moment it seems Arsenal are not interested in selling.
