Setien takes Barca squad out for dinner

Riqui Puig joined the regulars

Quique Setien has continued getting to know the Barcelona players by taking the entire first team out to dinner on Thursday night.

The new boss and his players went to a restaurant in Barcelona, only injured duo Luis Suarez and Ousmane Dembele were missing, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Riqui Puig has featured heavily in the headlines since Setien took over, and he was spotted coming out of the restaurant with the rest of the first-team regulars.

All of which is likely to fuel speculation further than the young midfielder could get his first La Liga minutes of the season on Sunday against Granada.

Barcelona still have three more training sessions before Sunday’s game, as Setien does his best to prepare his team for their first match under the new boss.

They return on Friday evening, come back again on Saturday morning and are also scheduled to hit the training pitch on game day at 12pm in what is a big change to their usual schedule.
