Barca confirm Dembele has ‘complete proximal hamstring tear’
The Frenchman has suffered yet another setback
Barcelona have confirmed that Ousmane Dembele has been diagnosed with a “complete proximal hamstring tear in his right thigh” after pulling out of training yesterday.
The Frenchman has only just returned to training after picking up a hamstring problem against Dortmund in November but is now set for more time on the sidelines.

Dembele quit Monday’s session after feeling some “discomfort” which Barca said was a “consequence of muscle fatigue” and it initially seemed it was nothing too scary.
However, the latest update suggests it’s a big setback, and although it’s not clear how long Dembele will be out for you have to wonder if he will play again for Barcelona this season.
