It’s second against third in La Liga on Saturday

Barcelona are back in La Liga action on Saturday when they take on third-placed Getafe at the Camp Nou.

Quique Setien’s men have had a free week to prepare for this one so should be pretty fresh and head into the game after their thrilling 3-2 win at Real Betis.

Barcelona won 2-0 at Getafe earlier in the season but can expect a tough test from the visitors who have won their last four games in a row without conceding a single goal.

Setien will have to make changes in his defence for Saturday’s match as Clement Lenglet will miss out due to suspension.

Gerard Pique is back and could partner Samuel Umtiti in central defence, as the Frenchman was back in training on Thursday.

Nelson Semedo is a doubt as he is suffering from tonsillitis which means Sergi Roberto could start at right-back, while Jordi Alba should return at left-back after being benched against Betis.

Injuries in midfield and attack means Setien doesn’t seem to have settled on his favourite midfield yet but has plenty of options for Saturday’s match.

Arturo Vidal and Arthur are both back to full fitness, and the Brazilian has looked in good shape when coming off the bench in recent games,

Frenkie de Jong has played in a more advanced role recently and scored in the win over Betis, while Sergio Busquets and Ivan Rakitic are also fit and available.

Barcelona haven’t added to their squad just yet which means Lionel Messi, Antoine Griezmann and Ansu Fati remain Setien’s attacking options.

Setien has avoided playing all three in the last couple of games so it will be interesting to see what he does against Getafe.

Griezmann and Ansu have both been left out of the starting XI in recent weeks, but it’s difficult to see Messi getting a breather with the captain having assisted Barca’s last five goals.

Possible XI: Ter Stegen; Semedo, Pique, Umtiti, Alba; De Jong, Busquets, Arthur; Messi, Griezmann, Ansu.
