Chelsea contact Barca to discuss Coutinho loan - report

The Spanish champions could loan him out again

Chelsea have reportedly been in touch with Barcelona to talk about a possible loan for Philippe Coutinho.

According to Sport, the Blues have also spoken with the Brazilian and are thinking about an initial loan with an option to buy.

The report reckons that one of Barcelona’s priorities this summer is to sort out Coutinho’s future one way or the other.

He’s currently on loan at Bayern Munich but it seems unlikely the Bundesliga club will pay his huge €120 million buyout clause.

Barcelona are thought to be willing to accept €90m for the former Liverpool man but are starting to believe another loan is probably the best option.

Sport reckon that Coutinho’s wages would not be a problem for Chelsea and also report that Inter Milan have also been in touch but could only afford a loan.
