The midfielder has responded to rumors

Barcelona midfielder Arthur has responded to speculation linking him with a move to Inter Milan and says he’s happy at the Camp Nou and wants to stay.

The Brazilian is one of several players believed to be of interest to the Nerazzurri, with Barca keen to bring in Inter forward Lautaro Martinez.

Arthur says he’s proud to hear of interest from Antonio Conte’s side but is focused on Barcelona and is not thinking about leaving.

“For any player, being linked to a such an important club and one as recognised around the world as Inter, a club with a great coach and an impressive squad, is a source of pride,” he said.

“Having said that, though, the thoughts I have in my mind right now are only for Barcelona: I feel very good at the club and in the city, and I sincerely continue to see myself dressed in Blaugrana for many years to come.

“I feel very integrated, every time I feel better both physically and with the team’s game, now I am taking the opportunity to fully recover and am looking forward to the competition coming back.”

The Brazilian has had a bit of a tough season in 2019-20. Injury has interrupted his campaign and means he’s only made 12 starts in La Liga.

Speculation has suggested that while Conte would quite like to bring him Barcelona don’t really want him to go, and Arthur’s comments show he’s not interested in moving either.
