Two Portuguese fullbacks could trade teams

FC Barcelona and Manchester City may be switching right-backs soon. According to a new report, the Citizens are prepared to offer João Cancelo plus additional money in exchange for Nélson Semedo.

The report says that Pep Guardiola is a fan of Semedo, and that the English club has tried since last summer to recruit him. Barcelona at that time rejected an offer of 45 million euro, but things may have changed.

The biggest question to resolve is how much additional money City will offer in addition to Cancelo, but the report says talks are advanced and we could hear of a deal being struck in the coming weeks.

Semedo is still the club’s starting right-back, or at least fighting with Sergi Roberto for the title. However, the rumor is that the Catalans are not fully satisfied with the Portuguese.
