Barcelona join race for Gyokeres
Sporting striker Victor Gyokeres has emerged as one of the hottest properties around due to his goalscoring exploits for his club.
A host of clubs have been linked with a move for the attacker, and the rumor mill has now decided Barcelona should be part of the debate.
Diario Sport are even getting quite excited about the possibility of Gyokeres potentially arriving as a successor to Robert Lewandowski in a deal worth between €60-70m.
There’s a claim that Barca could throw in Vitor Roque as part of the deal as well as Francisco Trincao - as Barca have retained 50% of his rights and have a purchase option on the winger.
Enzo Fernandez on Barca’s radar
Another player said to be on Barcelona’s radar right now is Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez who is having a bit of a tough time in west London.
The word is that Barcelona and Inter are keeping tabs on his situation after seeing the £107m man fall out of favour at Stamford Bridge, according to The S*n.
Enzo is reportedly keen to fight for his place but will look to leave if he spends too much more time on the Chelsea beach.
Marc Casado wanted by everyone
Back in Spain and Barcelona midfielder Marc Casado appears to have caught the attention of a host of clubs.
Sport say Barca turned down an €8m bid from a Saudi club in the summer, while Caught Offside reckon Manchester United, Liverpool and Newcastle are keen on Casado.
Of couse at this point it’s worth mentioning that Casado renewed his contract until 2028 in the summer and has a release clause set at €100 million.
Real Betis interested in Gerard Martin
And finally we end with news that Real Betis have taken a shine to Gerard Martin and would like either a permanent transfer or a loan, according to journalist Ekrem Konur.
Los Verdiblancos are willing to offer Martin a more prominent role if he’s willing to move on from being Alejandro Balde’s back-up at Barcelona.
It’s not clear yet what will happe but it’s worth noting that Martin’s current deal expires next summer and he is in talks about a renewal with Barcelona.
