Barcelona to bring Cucurella back?

Barcelona are reportedly considering bringing back Marc Cucurella from Getafe ahead of next season to provide competition for Jordi Alba.

The Catalans have been impressed by Cucurella’s strong season with Jose Bordalas’ team and think he could have a place at the club, according to Catalunya Radio.

Barca would have to shell out €15 million to land the versatile youngster. He moved on loan last summer and reports have claimed Getafe have already activated their purchase option.

Any possible deal would also hinge on Junior Firpo leaving in the summer. The 23-year-old has endured a tough first season at the Camp Nou and has been linked with an exit.
