Inter want Semedo, Firpo for Lautaro
Another interesting report coming out of Italy
The Lautaro MartÃnez to Barcelona saga continues to create headlines and fresh speculation, and the latest is about which players Inter Milan want in return along with the massive amount of money Barça would have to pay to sign the Argentine striker.
According to a report from Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter owner Steven Zhang wants at least 80 million euros to allow Lautaro to leave for Barça, but he also wants two players in return: full-backs Nélson Semedo and Junior Firpo. Wingbacks are crucial in Antonio Conte’s system and Inter are prepared to spend in the summer to improve both positions, but Zhang would like to pick up two quality players from Barça without spending a dime.
The report says Conte is a fan of Semedo but would prefer Chelsea’s Emerson Palmieri over Firpo on the left side, but Zhang likes Firpo and thinks Conte would accept his signing if it also means bringing Semedo and getting a ton of money from Barça.
Lautaro is clearly the number one target for Barcelona in the upcoming transfer window and his signing seems inevitable at this point, so Inter want to get as much in return as they can.
