Papers: Sancho instead of Neymar, Lautaro wants to leave
A look at the latest headlines
Borussia Dortmund forward Jadon Sancho is making headline news again in Spain on Saturday with a report that the England international is viewed as a possible alternative to Neymar by Barcelona.
Sport bring word that the England international is the club’s latest ‘Plan B’ and is seen as a younger and cheaper option than the Brazilian. Dortmund are said to want €130m for Sancho, while Neymar is expected to cost around €170m.
Barca know bringing Neymar back will be a tough task, but are said to have a good relationship with Dortmund, while there’s also still some concern over the PSG star’s injury record.
Over at Mundo Deportivo the front page once again features Lautaro Martinez and a report that the Argentinian is making it clear to Inter Milan he will not sign a contract renewal and wants to leave.
The striker wants to join Barcelona in the summer, although he has not yet agreed a deal with the Catalan giants. Inter don’t want to lose Martinez but they are also aware how difficult it will be to keep hold of the 22-year-old.
MD seem confident Barcelona and Inter will be able to reach agreement over a deal for Martinez but warn it will be a difficult transfer to pull off.
