Barca starting to worry about Dani Olmo’s registration
Problems ahead?
Barcelona are reportedly growing concerned about how they will register Dani Olmo for the rest of the season.
The club were only able to register Olmo, and Pau Victor, until the end of the year and only after Andreas Christensen was ruled out for four months through injury.
Barcelona therefore have work to do to ensure both players will be available for the second half of the season but the situation is causing concern, according to Sport.
The Catalans had been hoping their new mega-deal with Nike would solve many financial issues, but the report claims an agreement is not now expected until January at the earliest.
Barca are also still trying to find a way to sort out the Libero mess, that has left them short of around 60 million euros, but there doesn’t seem to any solution on the horizon.
Olmo made an instant impact after arriving in the summer. The new signing scored three times in four games for Barcelona before being ruled out through injury.
