Gerard Pique loves a Clasico and has been busy remembering Barcelona’s 6-2 thrashing of Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu on this day in 2009.
The defender was on target in one the most legendary Clasico wins in the long history of this famous fixture.
Pique notched Barcelona’s sixth goal and has taken to social media to celebrate what was a very special night in the Spanish capital.
Thierry Henry and Lionel Messi both scored twice, while Carles Puyol was also on target for Pep Guardiola’s men as they went on to win the treble.
All of which is a great excuse to sit back and watch the highlights of this cracking win.
