Todibo struggles as Schalke are beaten again
His had a role in Werder Bremen’s winner
Jean-Clair Todibo had a tough afternoon on Saturday as Schalke were beaten 1-0 at home to Werder Bremen.
The Frenchman was forced off with injury last weekend but did recover in time to go straight back into the starting XI.
However, it was a game he won’t remember with too much fondness. The defender was caught in possession on the halfway line which led to Bremen scoring the winner.
Todibo had brought the ball out of defence but was dispossessed far too easily by Davy Klaassen.
Werder went on to break quickly, leading to Leonardo Bittencourt smashing a brilliant effort into the top corner.

The Barcelona loanee had already been booked for a poor challenge on Joshua Sargent, and his afternoon was over at half-time when he was subbed by manager David Wagner.
On a slightly more positive note, Juan Miranda was handed just his third Bundesliga start, and his first in 2020, for Schalke and put in a pretty good display.
