Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is an alternative for Barça

FC Barcelona and Arsenal are in discussions about potential player transfers, with the Gunners most interested in finding a replacement goalkeeper and Barça looking for a striker alternative should they fail to land Lautaro Martínez, according to new rumors.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is a name that has been linked with Barcelona in the past, and it’s making the rounds once again as rumors circulate that Barça might not land their #1 target this year. Inter Milan may be firm and keep Lautaro, after all. On the other hand, Aubameyang has many teams vying for him.

Arsenal’s keeper, Bernd Leno, suffered a serious injury on his knee in a match against Brighton, sending the Gunners scrambling for a replacement. Burnley’s Joe Hart has been mentioned as a possible signing, but Barcelona’s backup keeper, Neto, could interest the London club.

Hart would be a short-term replacement, however. Neto would perhaps be someone for the longer run, although there are many more possible options. Mikel Arteta could also stick by Leno’s deputy, Emi MartĂnez, should the latter impress during the rest of the season.
